Old Waldorf Astoria Hotel

November 15, 1925

The first Waldorf Astoria, contstructed in the early 1900s was a primary example of Victorian architecture at its best. Its location was Fifth Avenue and 34th Street. In 1930, the hotel was
dismantaled and replaced by the Empire State Building. This famous hotel was then rebuilt at 50th St. and Park Ave.
